And The Winner Is . . .

Actually, we have two. Picked by a random number generator--namely my son. As he was eating his breakfast, trying to get out the door to school, I told him to pick a number between one and fifteen. He rolled his eyes, then said, "Eight." Then I said, quick, pick a second number, because I have TWO ARCs to giveaway. Then he said, "Two." And got up to eat his breakfast in the privacy of his room.

So there you have it, commenters Eight and Two (Dave Johnson and Erica) email me with your snail mail addresses and I will get those ARCs out to you this week!

Thanks so much for entering everyone!

In other news, I got the first page proofs for Theodosia and the Eyes of Horus last week and have been diligently working my way through them. Honest to god, I swear that the Convoluted Sentence Fairy has visited this manuscript and sprinkled it with a few of the most tortured, serpentine sentences on the planet. Seriously. Who wrote those??

Once I get those out the door (this afternoon) I will dive back into my dark YA with my full attention. Except for blogging. I'll save some of my attention for that. :-)

Congratulations, you lucky numbers Two and Eight!

What, if we are permitted to know, is this "dark YA" book that you are working on?

Whoops, how'd I miss your comment, Adriadne?

You will be permitted to know more about this dark YA once I am sure I can pull it off. I'm a little bit superstitious that way. Once I think I've nailed it, I will babble incessantly...
