I love that word, hodge podge.
Sorry I didn't get something up yesterday but I was completely possessed by a white hot writing streak, and I don't stop those for anything. Well, except for family spurting arterial blood. Then I'll stop.
For any of you interested in the evolution of a book design process, the eXtreMeLy talented Kelly Murphy has a fascinating look at the steps involved up on her blog. (And no, probably not a coincidence that she's discussing the Nathaniel Fludd cover!)
For fantasy lovers, I've just joined a group blog with a bunch of amazingly talented fantasy authors. The Enchanted Inkpot features lots of great topics from reading fantasy to writing it, to author interviews and book discussions. If you're a fan of fantasy, check it out. Today's post features an interview with the fabulous Tamora Pierce.
In other news, I have a new vice: Lexulous on Facebook. It's a lot like Scrabble, only not Scrabble because that's copyrighted. :-) Very fun. However, I only play at night when I've finished all my writing and gotten household chores done. (Okay, so maybe not all household chores.)
And lastly, I've finally categorized my posts on writing and put up a label index in the sidebar to make them easier to find.

I'm addicted to Word Twist...
I'd never to able to play if the household chores had to be done first! Maybe I'll check it out :)
You are part of the InkPot? My friend Ellen was one of the originators! How wonderful!
And there used to be a nature show in the late 60s in New Hampshire called the Hodge Podge Lodge, where this woman with a warm friendly nature and decidedly floppy upper arms would create art from bark and fungus - perfect for a nature girl like me.
