And because this is publishing, the news isn't always good. I just found out that Werewolf Rising is being remaindered. (sob!) So sad. The poor thing never even made it to paperback.
It's too bad because of all of my books, this is the one I get the most mail for, begging for a sequel. So while apparently only 358 people read it, they were passionate about it. Plus, I had left some intriguing questions to be answered in a sequel which will, alas, most likely never see the light of day.
Excuse me while I have a moment of silence...

Never say never! It may yet find a way to see the light of day.
P.J.!! Look at the title of your book! Ha! Great minds think alike, and all that. (If no one knows what I'm talking about, check out the titles we're considering for Theodosia 3.)
The post is how I found you! My Google alert went off. Normally The Emerald Tablet just gives all the NF stuff.
BTW, I picked up the Serpents of Chaos today at the bookstore; I think it will be right up my alley. My editor said she loved it and was looking forward to the next one :) It was face out on a special display as a manager's pick at my local indie.
PJ, that is a very cool story about your editor liking TatSoC! I hope you do too! And what good news your local indie had it so strategically placed. Love those indies!
Why would they do that? My mother and I both loved that book (I kinda was hoping for sequel). It was amazing. Right at the top of my were critters book list. I'm actually currently waiting for a couple of your other books to come in on laon from other libraries. I'm thinking I'll like them just as much..
Breezy, that was my reaction, too. But why would you do that!! My guess was it had to do with sales numbers and storage space in the warehouse.
And I had planned on writing a sequel, too, but clearly that will be postponed!
I'm so glad it was one of your favorite were critter books, though! That helps soften the blow quite a bit!
