World Premier--Nathaniel Fludd Four Cover! (Unicorns!)

My editor sent me this yesterday afternoon and it promptly chased all other thoughts from my mind and I just had to share. Isn't it beautimous?? ::very happy sigh::

I truly am the luckiest of authors...Once again, Kelly Murphy is a GeNiUs!

Plus I figured all of those suffering from way too much heat would enjoy looking at all that cool green forest...

Congrats Robin! It's a stunning cover. LOVE unicorns (I'm so 8th grade). I just finished the first Nathaniel Fludd book and loved it. Looking forward to the next.

Totally love it! Of course I can't wait for book three before book four, but it's great to have all this wonderfulness ahead!

It looks amazing! I'm a big Theodosia fan, and I can't wait to read the Nathaniel Fludd books.

Haven't they, Sherrie? Obviously I can't say enough good things about Miz Kelly Murphy.

Hey Melanie, all eighth graders welcome here! :-) So glad to hear you enjoyed the first Nathaniel book! Lot's more to come.

Miss Eliza, it IS strange to be working so far ahead. I was wondering about putting up first chapters, then realized how thoroughly spoilerish they would be.

Hi Ruth! So glad to meet a Theo fan. Here's hoping Nate captures your fancy as well! Thanks for stopping by.

This is why ebooks are such are hard sell to me. Who could pass up these beautiful covers?

Robin -- My 7-year-old daughter and I are halfway through Nathaniel Fludd #2--and just found out that book #3 will be out in October. We're very excited! The cover for book #4 looks wonderful (I've always been a unicorn fan!)

From Katie: "I love your books!"

(Thanks for giving us hours of reading fun--we're going to try Theodosia next!)

Thanks Dixie and Christy!

Vonna, what a great point about losing cover art in the e-book format! How sad would that be??

Kris, I am so glad to hear how much you and your daughter are enjoying the Nathaniel Fludd books. I had a BLAST writing them. And never fear, there are more to come after #4, we're just taking a short breather then.

And please tell Katie thank you for her lovely compliment!

Okay, so this comment is a little late, but it's the latest post about Nate I found. Robin, I have to tell you that two years in a row, Nate Fludd has had my 4th graders absolutely spellbound. Squirrelly fourth graders are silent when I read about Nate. We've read Flight of the Phoenix and I have Basilisk's Lair in the pipeline to read, too. They want "the unicorn book" to come out soon, so I can read that, too. Thanks for writing such marvelous books that help teachers like me show kids that words are magic.

Dear singersdd, comments like yours are NEVER too late! Are you kidding? Hearing stuff like that makes me ECSTATIC!

Especially because that's exactly who I wrote the books for, squirrely third and fourth graders who weren't quite convinced that reading held much interest for them.

(Also, the third book just came out this month, The Wyverns' Treasure, which deals with Welsh dragons. Probably best to read them in order!)

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your experiences with the book!
